Jana Gieselmann
Duesseldorf Institute for Competition Economics, HHUI am a PhD student in Economics at the Duesseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE) in Germany.
My primary research interests lie at the intersection of behavioral economics and industrial organization with a special interest in digital markets. I use theoretical models to examine how platforms exploit consumers in digital markets. In my job market paper, I study how a matching platform designs its matching rule when the incentives between users and the platform are misaligned.
