Bruno De Backer
National Bank of BelgiumBruno heads the Monetary Policy Unit in the NBB’s Economics and Research Department. A specialist in monetary policy, financial markets and financial stability, he has more than a decade of experience at the Banque centrale du Luxembourg, the European Central Bank and the National Bank of Belgium. Bruno holds a research master’s degree in econometrics from UCLouvain and an MSc in finance and economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a visiting lecturer at EDHEC Business School in Lille (France), and at HEC Liège (Belgium). He is also a guest lecturer at UCLouvain (Belgium).
