I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the Boston University and “Livre-Docencia” from the University of São Paulo. I am also Senior Research Fellow of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), Consultant and Project Coordinator of the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Editor. My research areas are monetary policy, macroeconomics, applied econometrics.
