I conduct applied microeconomic research studying (among other things): how the design and implementation of mandatory disclosure policies affect their ability to regulate product quality, how compliance with law responds to enforcement presence and tactics, and how the severity of punishments prescribed for offenses affects the behavior of enforcement agents.
